I just started taking a new painting class. I'm taking it from Rod Hubble here at San Juan College. He is a successful artist and sells a  lot of his work. He paints in an impressionist style that I really like. It is so different from the way I tend to paint. I always want to paint tight and realistic, but Rod's way is loose and soft with no hard lines.
This is a picture of our orchard. If you look close you can see the apples. I like the bright little glow over the trees and the bright colors. It gives me the same feeling I have when I'm in the orchard, happy, safe and peaceful.
